Freedom Riders in Action
.The Central Chapter of the OKC Freedom Riders was founded in May, 2002. We have approximately 50 members.  Members of our club enjoy riding motorcycles, and we band together with special functions to raise money for local causes and charities that benefit individuals in our community.
Some of the charities  The Freedom Riders support.
Members of the club join forces to insure that as many children as our efforts and contributions will allow, will receive the medical attention they need, when they need it.
Freedom Riders work the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon in 2008.
Back to School for Kids:
Helping a child go to school and stay in school will enable them to make the right choices in life.  If education is the road to success, the Freedom Riders want every child to ride the adventure.

In the past our club has raised as much as $10,000.00 for the Mark Twain Elementary School. With the money, the school was able to purchase shorts, shoes and socks for the boys and girls basketball team.  Additionally, these funds assisted them in purchasing P.E. equipment and provided several field trips

Christmas for Kids:
Christmas for Kids provides clothing and toys for children in foster care. When the Freedom Riders show up with presents, you can bet these kids believe in Santa Claus and maybe now they think that Santa rides a motorcycle.
As of 2008, the Freedom Riders have delivered almost $12,000.00 in Christmas presents to foster children in OKC.

Each year club members vote on charitable organization that we might be able to raise money for.  Some of the past charities have been Children Miracle Network, Sunbeam Family Services, Infant Crisis Services and the YWCA Rape Crisis Center.

The OKC Freedom Riders is a 501 (c) 3 organization and all of your donations/ sponsorships are completely tax deductible.
Just email us or talk to one of our members about sponsorship possibilities.

Our club members are from all walks of life and ride all types of motorcycles.

The one thing we have in common is that we love to ride and helping the community is a blessing.
